Flos Carthami Hong Hua 6-15g Invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis and stops pain.
With Chuan Xiong, for chest and abdominal pain due to Qi and Blood Stasis.
With Tao Ren, invigorates the Blood for all types of Blood Stagnation such as dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea, swollen painful sores and chest and abdominal pain.

Da Zao 3-6g Tonifies the Spleen, tonifies Qi, nourishes the Blood, calms the Spirit and moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of the other herbs.
With Sheng Jiang, nourishes the Blood and prevents injury from harsh Blood movers and assists the movement of Qi.
Rz. Zingiberis Recens Sheng Jiang 3-10g Releases the exterior, expels Cold, Warms the Lungs, transforms Phlegm and disperses and unblocks the Qi of the nasal orifices.
Moschus She Xiang 0.1-0.5g Opens orifices, revives the Spirit, invigorates the Blood, reduces swelling and stops pain.
