  1. This herb is similar to but not as strong as Agkistrodon/Bungarus Bai Hua She.
  2. This herb consists of the dried internal organs of the Black-Striped snake.
  3. This herb is used primarily for rheumatism and pruritis.
  4. It is used in patent medicines for parasitic skin disorders and pruritis.
  5. This herb treats itchy urticaria due to Wind, scabies, loss of feeling in the skin, stubborn Bi and all Wind disorders.
  6. Both Wu Shao She and Agkistrodon/Bungarus Bai Hua She dispel Wind, unblock the collaterals, settle jitteriness, and stop convulsions and are often used together to treat Wind-Damp Bi, itchy skin and convulsions. Wu Shao She is not toxic and its effects are somewhat milder and more harmonious. It governs Wind in the Kidneys while Bai Hua She governs wind in the Lungs.
  7. Wine-prepared Zaocys Jiu Zhi Wu Shao She has a stronger ability to dispel wind and unblock the collaterals. It is used to treat pain due to Wind-Damp Bi, numbness, hemiplegia, childhood convulsions and stubborn rashes.
