Rx. Angelicae Sinensis Dang Gui 3-12g Tonifies, invigorates and harmonizes the Blood.
With Bai Shao, regulates and harmonizes Qi and Blood and treats Blood Deficiency Heat.
With Chuan Xiong, harmonizes, nourishes and invigorates the Blood and disperses Blood Stasis for abdominal pain
With Bai Shao and Chuan Xiong, harmonizes the function of and softens the Liver.
With Bai Shao, Fu Ling, Bai Zhu and Ze Xie, for diarrhea during pregnancy with severe abdominal pain.
Rx. Paeoniae Alba Bai Shao 4-48g Softens the Liver, stops pain and nourishes the Blood.
With Bai Zhu, treats concurrent problems of the Liver and Spleen.
With Dang Gui, nourishes Yin and Blood.
Rz. Atractylodis Macrocephalae Bai Zhu 4-12g Tonifies the Spleen, tonifies Qi and dries Dampness.
With Fu Ling and Ze Xie, strengthens Spleen and leaches out Dampness.
Poria Fu Ling 4-12g Promotes urination, resolves Dampness, strengthens the Spleen and harmonizes the Middle Jiao.
With Ze Xie, facilitates the removal of water and leaches out Dampness to treat stagnant water and Dampness leading to edema, jaundice, diarrhea, Milky Lin, and scanty, difficult urination with abdominal distention.
Rz. Alismatis Ze Xie 4-24g Promotes urination and resolves Dampness.
With Bai Zhu, for Spleen Deficiency leading to accumulation of Dampness with urinary difficulty, loose stools, diarrhea Milky Lin or vaginal discharge.
Rz. Chuanxiong Chuan Xiong 3-24g Activates Blood and regulates Qi.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
  • Use with caution during pregnancy.
HERB/DRUG INTERACTIONS
  • Concurrent use of this formula with colchicine was associated with improvement in learning acquisition deficit induced bu colchicine.
  • This formula may reduce menopausal symptoms induced by gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonists without negative effects on serum estradiol levels.
