Wine-washed Rx. Angelicae Sinensis Jiu Dang Gui 4g Tonifies, invigorates and harmonizes the Blood, stops cough and treats dyspnea.
With Shu Di Huang, for Heat symptoms due to Yin Deficiency and Devastated Blood.
Wine-washed Rx. Paeoniae Alba Jiu Bai Shao 7g Nourishes the Blood and astringes Yin.
With Dang Gui and Shu Di Huang, for Dizziness, blurred vision, and dysmenorrhea due to Blood Deficiency or Stasis.
With Dang Gui, Mai Men Dong and Shu Di Huang, for tinnitus, dizziness, blurred vision, numbness of the extremities, and muscle spasms due to Liver Yin Deficiency.
With Dang Gui, nourishes Yin and Blood.
Ginger juice -fried Rx. Rehmanniae Preparata Jiang Zhi Shu Di Huang 3g Nourishes Liver and Kidney Yin, arrests cough and wheezing and relieves wasting and thirsting disorder.
With Dang Gui, for Blood Deficiency marked by dizziness, palpitations, insomnia and menstrual dysfunction.
With Huang Bai and Zhi Mu, for Lower Jiao Wasting and Thirsting with Yin Deficiency Heat.
Rx. Asparagi Tian Men Dong 3g Nourishes Kidney Yin, clears Lung Heat, sedates Fire, moistens the Lungs, generates fluids and resolves Phlegm.
With Mai Men Dong, for a dry cough, thirst, and other symptoms due to Yin Deficiency and injured fluids.
Rx. Ophiopogonis Mai Men Dong 3g Moistens the Lungs, nourishes Yin and stops cough.
With Sheng Di Huang, for hematemesis or epistaxis due to Yin Deficiency with Excess Heat.
Rz. Atractylodis Macrocephalae Bai Zhu 3g Tonifies the Spleen and augments Qi.
With Shu Di Huang, Bai Shao and Dang Gui, for Blood Deficiency.
Per. Citri Reticulatae Chen Pi 2.5g Regulates Qi, adjusts the Middle, relieves the diaphragm and helps prevent Stagnation from tonic herbs.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Preparata Zhi Gan Cao 1.5g Moistens the Lungs, resolves Phlegm, stops cough and moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs.
Rx. Rehmanniae Sheng Di Huang 2.5g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, nourishes Yin, generates fluids, increases saliva and treats wasting and thirsting.
With Shu Di Huang, for Heat symptoms due to Yin Deficiency and Devastated Blood.
Rz. Anemarrhenae Zhi Mu 1.5-2.5g Clears Heat from the Lungs, drains Fire, nourishes Yin, moistens Dryness, generates Fluids, clears Deficiency Fire and quenches thirst.
With Huang Bai, clears Heat and Drains Fire for Yin Deficiency Fire, for Steaming Bone disorder from Yin Deficiency with night sweats, dizziness, and vertigo.
With Huang Bai and Shu Di Huang, for Yin Deficiency with Empty Fire.
Dry-fried Cx. Phellodendri Chao Huang Bai 1.5g Drains Deficiency Fire.
Rz. Zingiberis Recens Sheng Jiang 3g Warms the Lungs, stops cough and reduces the toxicity of other herbs.
With Da Zao, prevents Phlegm accumulation.
