Gypsum Fibrosum Shi Gao 9-39g Clears Fire from the Stomach, relieves irritability, fever and thirst and is specific for toothache due to Stomach Fire.
With Zhi Mu, for high fever from Wind-Heat or Qi Stage Heat or Yang Ming Heat with irritability and extreme thirst and epidemic diseases.
With Shu Di Huang, for headache, toothache, and thirst due to raging fire caused by devastated Yin.
Rx. Rehmanniae Preparata Shu Di Huang 9-30g Nourishes Kidney Yin to cool Stomach Fire.
Rz. Anemarrhenae Zhi Mu 3-10g Clears Heat from the Qi Stage, from the Lungs and from the Stomach, nourishes Yin, moistens Dryness, Generates Fluids, clears Deficiency Fire and quenches thirst.
With Shi Gao, clears Heat from the Stomach and nourishes Yin.
Tub. Ophiopogonis Mai Men Dong 3-15g Nourishes Yin in the Upper and Middle Jiaos. moistens the Stomach, generates fluids and alleviates irritability.
Rx. Achyranthis Bidentatae Niu Xi 3-15g Conducts Heat downward and stops bleeding in the mouth.
