Rx. Anemarrhenae Zhi Mu 2-9g Clears Heat, drains Fire, enriches Yin, moistens Dryness and generates Fluids.
With Huang Bai, for Yin Deficiency with Fire Flaring, Steaming Bone Disorder and Lower Jiao Damp-Heat.
with Huang Bai and Shu Di Huang, for Yin Deficiency with Empty Fire.
Cx. Phellodendri Huang Bai 2-9g Drains Damp-Heat, drains Kidney Fire and relieves toxicity.
Rx. Rehmanniae Preparata Shu Di Huang 8-30g Nourishes Yin and Blood and tonifies the Kidneys.
Fr. Corni Shan Shan Zhu Yu 4-20g Nourishes Kidney Yin and Yang, astringes Yin and stops Excess perspiration.
With Shan Yao, tonifies the Liver and Spleen.
With Shu Di Huang, nourishes Kidney Yin and secures Jing, while restraining urination and sweating.
Rx. Dioscoreae Shan Yao 4-15g Strengthens the Spleen, stabilizes the Kidneys and nourishes Jing.
With Shu Di Huang and Shan Zhu Yu, for Kidney Deficiency with spermatorrhea, dizziness, tinnitus, lower back pain, impotence and night sweats.
Poria Fu Ling 3-15g Strengthens the Spleen and drains Dampness.
With Ze Xie, facilitates the removal of water and leaches out Dampness to treat stagnant water and Dampness leading to edema, jaundice, diarrhea, Milky Lin, and scanty, difficult urination with abdominal distention.
Cx. Moutan Mu Dan Pi 3-15g Clears Heat, cools and invigorates the Blood, clears Deficiency Fire and dispels Blood Stasis .

CONTRAINDICATIONS
  • Use caution for those with Spleen Deficiency type diarrhea and indigestion with a white greasy tongue coat.
  • Contraindicated for those with Yang Deficiency.
