Hb. Schizonepetae Jing Jie 1-10g Releases the exterior, expels Wind, vents rashes, and relieves itching.
With Niu Bang Zi and Chan Tui, for initial-stage measles and skin eruptions - brings rash to the surface and alleviates itching.
With Fang Feng, for pruritic itching, Exterior Excess and initial-stage boils.
With Fang Feng, Niu Bang Zi and Chan Tui, opens pores and disperses Wind.
With Dang Gui, for itching, and tremors of the hands and feet from Wind due to Blood Deficiency.
Rx. Saposhnikoviae Fang Feng 2-10g Releases the exterior, moves Qi, expels Wind-Cold-Dampness and alleviates pain.
With Cang Zhu, for pain due to Wind-Dampness.
With Jing Jie and Chan Tui, for dermatological disorders with rash, irritability and itching.
Fr. Arctii Niu Bang Zi 2-6g Disperses Wind-Heat, benefits the throat, clears Internal Heat and vents rashes.
With Chan Tui, for weeping ulcers.
Periostracum Cicadae Chan Tui 1-3g Expels Wind, clears internal Heat and vents rashes.
With Jing Jie, Fang Feng and Ku Shen, for weepy red skin lesions in patients with pre-existing Damp-Heat.

Rx. Angelicae Sinensis Dang Gui 3-10g Nourishes and invigorates Blood, expels pus, reduces swelling and generates flesh.
Sm. Sesame He Zhi Ma 1.5-15g Nourishes Yin and Blood.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
  • Avoid foods which are thought to stimulate Wind, such as alcohol, coffee, spicy foods, seafood, as well as smoking, while taking this formula.
  • Contraindicated for those with marked Qi or Blood Deficiency.
