  • Use caution when used in conjunction with anticoagulants such as heparin, warfarin (Coumadin) and enoxaparin (Lovenox) or antiplatelet drugs such as aspirin, dipyridamole (Persantine) and clopidogrel (Plavix) as it may potentiate the effects of these drugs.

Hypertension.

  4. Ye Ju Hua more powerfully drains Fire and resolves toxicity than Flos Chrysanthemi Ju Hua and is often used to treat toxic swollen sores and boils.
  5. This herb is said to relax the Heart and has anti-viral and antibacterial properties
  6. It is also a lymphatic decongestant.
  7. One source says that this herb breaks up Blood Stasis.
  8. This herb has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells.
  9. It is said that this herb removes female hematocele and cures virulent furuncles and erysipelas.
  10. The root of this herb is said to cure non-ulcerated scrofula when pounded, decocted and taken with wine. The dregs are applied to the lesion.
