Rx. Scutellariae Huang Qin 4.5g Clears Heat, drains Fire, detoxifies, cools the Blood, stops bleeding and calms the fetus.
With Zhi Zi, for irregular vaginal bleeding due to Liver Fire.
Fr. Gardeniae Zhi Zi 6g Clears Heat, reduces Fire, eliminates irritability, cools the Blood, relieves toxicity and stops bleeding by astringing.
Rx. Rehmanniae Sheng Di Huang 9g Clears Heat and cools the Blood.
With E Jiao, for uterine hemorrhage due to Heat from Deficiency.
Cx. Lycii Di Gu Pi 6g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, drains Yin Deficiency Fire and stops bleeding.
With Huang Qin, for Blood Deficiency, Steaming Bone Disorder, or other recurrent afternoon fevers.
Rx. Sanguisorbae Di Yu 6g Cools the Blood and stops bleeding.
Nodus Nelumbinis Nuciferae Ou Jie 6g Stops bleeding, astringes leakage of Blood, removes Blood Stasis and eliminates Heat from the Blood.
Fr. Trachycarpi Zong Lu Zi 4.5g Astringes leakage of Blood and stops bleeding.
With E Jiao, for bleeding during pregnancy.
Colla Corii Asini E Jiao 6g Tonifies the Blood, nourishes the Blood and stops bleeding.
Plastrum Testudinis Gui Ban 12g Nourishes Yin, anchors the Yang, benefits the Kidneys, nourishes the Blood, stabilizes the Chong and Ren channels, cools the Blood and stops uterine bleeding.
Concha Ostreae Mu Li 3g Calms the Liver, benefits the Yin, anchors Floating Yang and prevents leakage of fluids.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Gan Cao 3g Moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs.
