Rx. Rehmanniae Sheng Di Huang 4-30g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, nourishes Yin, and generates fluids.
With Bai Shao, for Blood Deficiency Heat.
Rx. Angelicae Sinensis Dang Gui 5-30g Tonifies, invigorates and harmonizes the Blood, reduces swelling, expels pus, generates flesh and alleviates pain.
With Bai Shao, regulates and harmonizes Qi and Blood and treats Blood Deficiency Heat.
With Bai Shao and Chai Hu, for dysmenorrhea from Liver Qi Stagnation and Blood Deficiency.
With Chuan Xiong, harmonizes, nourishes and invigorates the Blood and disperses Blood Stasis.
Rx. Paeoniae Alba Bai Shao 3-30g Nourishes the Blood, Softens the Liver, relieves pain and calms Liver Yang and Wind.
With Dang Gui, nourishes Yin and Blood.
Rz. Chuanxiong Chuan Xiong 3-30g Invigorates the Blood, promotes the movement of Qi, expels Wind and alleviates pain.
With Fang Feng and Jing Jie, for headache due Wind-Cold Invasion.
With Sheng Di Huang, Bai Shao and Dang Gui, for headache due to Blood Deficiency.
Dry-fried Fr. Tribuli Chao Bai Ji Li 3-30g Calms the Liver, anchors Yang, dredges Liver Qi, disperses Stagnation, dispels Wind and stops itching.
With Dang Gui, He Shou Wu, and Fang Feng, for excruciating itching from ascendant Liver Yang and Blood Deficiencies.
Hb. Schizonepetae Jing Jie 1.5-30g Releases the exterior, expels Wind, vents rashes and relieves itching.
With Fang Feng, for pruritic itching.
With Dang Gui and Chuan Xiong, for itching, and tremors of the hands and feet from Wind due to Blood Deficiency.
