Rx. Rehmanniae Sheng Di Huang 1.3-15g Cools Heart Fire, clears Heat, cools the Blood and enriches Yin and Blood.
With Xuan Shen, for dry throat, irritability, a red tongue and a thready rapid pulse due to Yin Xu with Fire Flaring.
Rx. Ginseng Ren Shen 1-9g Tonifies Heart Qi and calms the Shen.
 With Fu Ling, assists Heart Qi.
With Mai Men Dong and Wu Wei Zi, for Qi and Yin Xu.
(Rx. Codonopsis) (Dang Shen) (3-27g) (Substitute for Ren Shen.)
Rx. Asparagi Tian Men Dong 1.3-12g Enriches the Yin and generates Fluids.
With Mai Men Dong, for Yin Xu with injured Fluids.

With Dang Gui, nourishes Blood to nourish the Heart without causing Stasis.
With Suan Zao Ren and Bai Zi Ren, for Heart Blood Xu with palpitations and insomnia.
Poria Fu Ling 1.3-12g Strengthens the Spleen and pacifies the Heart.

With Wu Wei Zi, prevents leakage of Heart Qi.
