Rx. Aristolochiae Guang Fang Ji 10-15g Expels Wind-Dampness, dispels Damp-Heat in the Upper Jiao, disperses superficial swelling, promotes urination, dries Dampness, stops pain and strengthens the Spleen (affects all three Jiaos).
With Yi Yi Ren, for Damp-Heat-induced extremity pain.
(Rx. Stephaniae Tetrandrae) (Han Fang Ji) (10-15g) (Expels Wind-Dampness, purges Damp-Heat, alleviates pain, promotes urination and reduces edema. Substitutes for Guang Fang Ji.)
(With Yi Yi Ren and Can Sha, for Wind-Damp Bi and Wind-Damp-Heat Bi.
Sm. Armeniacae Xing Ren 10-15g Regulates the Lung's water metabolism function.
Sm. Coicis Yi Yi Ren 15-20g Promotes urination, strengthens the Spleen, clears Heat, expels Wind-Dampness, soothes numbness and clears Damp-Heat.
With Can Sha, strengthens the Spleen, resolves Dampness and treats painful obstruction.
Faeces Bombycis Can Sha 9-10g Dispels Wind Dampness, harmonizes the Stomach and transforms turbid Dampness.
With Han Fang Ji, Yi Yi Ren and Lian Qiao, for Damp-Heat Bi and Wind-Damp Bi.
Rz. Pinelliae Preparatum Zhi Ban Xia 9-10g Dries Dampness, transforms Phlegm, descends Rebellious Qi, and reduces swelling.
With Can Sha, dries Dampness and eliminates turbidity.
Fr. Forsythiae Lian Qiao 9-10g Clears relatively superficial Heat and promotes urination.
Fr. Gardenia Zhi Zi 9-10g Clears Heat, eliminates irritability, drains Damp-Heat and reduces swelling.
With Hua Shi, Lian Qiao and Chi Xiao Dou, assists in clearing Heat and draining Dampness through the urine.
Talcum Hua Shi 15-20g Promotes urination and expels Damp-Heat.
Sm. Phaseoli Chi Xiao Dou 9-20g Promotes urination, clears Heat, clears Damp Heat and reduces swelling.
