Rz. Pinelliae Preparatum Zhi Ban Xia 15g Dries Dampness, expels Phlegm, descends Stomach Qi and reduces distention.
With Ju Hong, for Spleen Qi Deficiency or Phlegm-Damp Obstruction manifesting as productive cough and a stuffy chest.
With Huang Qin,. for Phlegm-Heat induced Rebellious Qi with cough, nausea, and vomiting.
Exocarpium Citri Reticulatae Rubrum Ju Hong 15g Revives the Spleen, activates Middle Jiao Qi, dries Dampness, transforms Phlegm and treats vomiting, belching and Phlegm-Damp coughs.
Poria Fu Ling 9g Strengthens the Spleen, transforms Phlegm and drains Dampness from the Middle Jiao.
With Bai Zhu, strengthens the Spleen and resolves Dampness.
With Zhi Ban Xia, for Phlegm, thin mucus and turbid Dampness.
With Zhi Ban Xia and Ju Hong, for nausea, vomiting, chest fullness and distention and anorexia due to congested fluids.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Preparata Zhi Gan Cao 4.5g Tonifies the Spleen, resolves Phlegm and moderates and harmonizes the properties of other herbs.
With Bai Shao and Huang Qin, for abdominal pain and dysenteric diarrhea from Damp-Heat.
Rz. Atractylodis Macrocephalae Bai Zhu 9g Tonifies the Spleen, augments Qi and dries Dampness.
With Fu Ling and Zhi Gan Cao, for Spleen and Stomach Qi Deficiency.
Rx. Angelicae Sinensis Dang Gui 6g Nourishes and activates Blood, regulates Liver and Kidneys, regulates menses and alleviates pain.
Rx. Scutellariae Huang Qin 6g Clears Heat and dries Dampness
With Huang Lian, drains pathogenic Heat from the Upper and Middle Jiaos.
With Huang Lian and Bai Shao, for Damp-Heat dysentery with fever and tenesmus.
With Bai Shao, for dysenteric disorders with abdominal pain due to Heat entering the Interior.
Rz. Coptidis Huang Lian 4.5g Clears Heat and drains Dampness.
Cx. Phellodendri Huang Bai 4.5g Drains Damp-Heat especially from the Lower Jiao and drains Deficiency Heat.
Rx. Paeoniae Alba Bai Shao 4.5g Nourishes Blood, preserves Yin, calms Liver Yang and alleviates pain.
With Dang Gui, nourishes Yin and Blood.
Cx. Ailanthi Chun Pi 7.7g Clears Heat, astringes the Intestines, dries Dampness, stops diarrhea and stops bleeding.
Fr. Corni Shan Zhu Yu 7.7g Stabilizes the Kidneys and astringes Jing and Body Fluids
