Rx. Rehmanniae Sheng Di Huang 9-15g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, nourishes Yin, generates fluids, increases saliva and treats wasting and thirsting.
With Shu Di Huang, for Heat symptoms due to Yin Deficiency and Devastated Blood.
Rx. Rehmanniae Preparata Shu Di Huang 9-15g Nourishes the Blood and nourishes Liver and Kidney Yin.
Hb. Dendrobii Shi Hu 9-12g Nourishes the Yin, clears Heat, generates fluids, enriches Kidney Yin, reduces Heat from Deficiency and nourishes Stomach and Lung Yin.
Rx. Asparagi Tian Men Dong 12-15g Nourishes the Kidney Yin, clears Lung Heat, sedates Fire, moistens the Lungs, nourishes the Kidneys and generates fluids.
With Mai Men Dong, for dry cough, thirst, and other symptoms due to Yin Deficiency and injured fluids.
Rx. Ophiopogonis Mai Men Dong 12-15g Moistens the Lungs, nourishes the Yin, stops cough, nourishes Stomach Yin, generates fluids and moistens the Intestines.
With Sheng Di Huang, for hematemesis or epistaxis due to Yin Deficiency with Excess Heat.
Rx. Scutellariae Huang Qin 9g Clears Heat, dries Dampness, drains Fire, detoxifies cools the Blood and stops bleeding.
Hb. Artemisiae Scopariae Yin Chen 9-12g Clears Damp-Heat from the Liver and Gallbladder, relieves jaundice, clears Heat and facilitates the resolution of Dampness.
Fr. Aurantii Zhi Ke 9g Promotes the movement of Qi and reduces distention and pressure.
Fol. Eriobotryae Pi Pa Ye 12-24g Transforms Phlegm, clears Lung Heat, descends Lung Qi, harmonizes the Stomach, clears Stomach Heat and descends Stomach Qi.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Gan Cao 3-6g Moistens the Lungs, resolves Phlegm, stops cough, clears Heat, relieves Fire toxicity and moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs.
