Rx. Ginseng Ren Shen 3-18g Tonifies Yuan Qi and Spleen, Lung and Heart Qi.
With Bai Zhu, strengthens the Spleen and augments Qi.
Rz. Atractylodis Bai Zhu 9-18g Tonifies the Spleen, tonifies Qi and dries Dampness.
Cx. Cinnamomi Rou Gui 3-24g Warms the Kidneys, strengthens Yang, warms the Spleen and alleviates pain.
With Chao Rou Dou Kou, warms Kidney and Spleen Yang to Dispel Cold and helps Ren Shen and Bai Zhu strengthen the Spleen.
Fried Sm. Myristicae Chao Rou Dou Kou 6-15g Astringes the Intestines, stops diarrhea, warms the Middle Jiao, moves Qi and alleviates pain.
With Ren Shen, Bai Zhu and Rou Gui, for chronic diarrhea due to Spleen and Stomach Deficiency Cold.
With He Zi, for chronic diarrhea and dysenteric disorders
With Ren Shen, Zhi Ying Su Ke and Rou Gui for severe diarrhea with slippage of Qi.
Fr. Chebulae He Zi 6-36g Astringes the Intestines and stops diarrhea.
With Zhi Ying Su Ke, binds the Intestines and stops diarrhea.
With Ren Shen, Bai Zhu and Chao Rou Dou kou, for long-term dysenteric disorders that have seriously injured the normal Qi leading to a prolapsed rectum.

Per. Papaveris Zhi Ying Su Ke 6-108g Astringes the Intestines, stabilizes the Lower Jiao and alleviates pain.
Rx. Paeoniae Alba Bai Shao 9-48g Alleviates pain, nourishes the Blood and astringes Yin.
With Dang Gui, nourishes Yin and Blood.
Rx. Angelicae Sinensis Dang Gui 6-18g Moistens the Intestines, unblocks the bowels, alleviates pain and nourishes the Blood.
With Bai Shao, regulates and harmonizes Qi and Blood and treats Blood Deficiency Heat.
Rx. Aucklandiae Mu Xiang 6-42g Helps revive the Spleen, regulates Qi, prevents Stagnation and alleviates tenesmus.
With Bai zhu, for anorexia with epigastric and abdominal pain and distention.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
  • Contraindicated for those with Excess conditions.
  • Contraindicated for those with Heat and toxins remaining in the body.
  • Contraindicated for those with Stagnation.
  • Contraindicated for those with Damp-Heat.
  • Contraindicated for those in the Initial stage of diarrhea or dysentery.
  • Avoid alcohol, fish, and raw, cold, oily or greasy foods while taking this decoction.

For diarrhea due to Spleen and Kidney Yang Deficiency with undigested food: For prolapsed rectum:
