Rx. Ginseng Ren Shen 1.5-22.5g Tonifies Qi, strengthens the Lungs, Spleen and Stomach and tonifies Qi in Deficiency patients with Exterior conditions.
With Zi Su Ye, for External Wind-Cold with underlying Qi Deficiency.
Fol. Perillae Zi Su Ye 3-22.5g Releases the exterior, disperses Cold, promotes Qi movement, improves Lung function and expands the chest.
With Jie Geng, for nasal congestion and productive cough.
With Sheng Jiang, for Wind-Cold with chills, fever, headache, nasal congestion and anhidrosis.
With Jie Geng and Zhi Ke, eases the diaphragm and Intestines.
Per. Citri Reticulatae Chen Pi 2-15g Regulates Qi, Improves the transformative and transportive functions of the Spleen, dries Dampness and transforms Phlegm.
With Zhi Ke and Mu Xiang, for abdominal distention, fullness and pain.
With Sheng Jiang, for Cold-Dampness Obstructing the Middle with nausea and hiccough.
With Jiang Ban Xia, for a stifling sensation in the chest and cough with excessive white, viscous sputum due to Phlegm-Damp Obstruction.

Rx. Puerariae Ge Gen 2-22.5g Discharges Exterior conditions, releases the muscles, clears Heat, raises Spleen Yang and stops diarrhea.
With Ren Shen, for diarrhea due to Spleen Deficiency.
Rx. Peucedani Qian Hu 2-22.5g Descends Qi, expels Phlegm and releases the Exterior.
Ginger-fried Rz. Pinelliae Preparatum Jiang Ban Xia 3-22.5g Dries Dampness, transforms Phlegm, descends Qi and alleviates nausea.
With Sheng Jiang, for productive cough due to Phlegm-Dampness and stops nausea and vomiting due to Cold, thin mucus.
With Fu Ling, treats Phlegm, thin mucus and turbid Dampness.
With Ren Shen, for vomiting due to Stomach Deficiency.

Rz. Zingiberis Recens Sheng Jiang 1.5-15g Releases the Exterior, induces perspiration and disperses Cold, warms the Lungs, stops cough, warms the Middle, stops vomiting, adjusts the Ying and Wei and reduces the toxicity of other herbs.
