Rx. Scutellariae Huang Qin 9g Drains Fire and detoxifies.
With Zhi Zi, powerfully clears and drains lurking Heat from the Lungs.
With Da Huang, for constipation.
Fr. Gardeniae Zhi Zi 9g Clears Heat, reduces Fire and eliminates irritability.
With Da Huang, for constipation.
Hb. Menthae Haplocalycis Bo He 4.5g Disperses Wind-Heat, cools and clears the head and eyes and benefits the throat.
Fr. Aurantii Zhi Ke 6g Promotes the movement of Qi and reduces distention and pressure.
With Jie Geng, regulates the flow of Qi in the chest and aids in the transformation of Phlegm for chest congestion.
Sm. Armeniacae Xing Ren 9g Stops cough, calms wheezing, moistens the Intestines and unblocks bowels.
Fr. Forsythiae Lian Qiao 9g Clears Heat (especially in the Upper Jiao), relieves toxicity, reduces abscesses and dissipates clumps.
Cx. Mori Sang Bai Pi 9g Drains Heat from the Lungs, stops cough and calms wheezing.
With Huang Qin, drains Heat from the Lungs, and stops cough and wheezing.
Rx. Platycodi Jie Geng 9g Opens the Lungs, spreads Lung Qi, expels Phlegm, benefits the throat and raises Lung Qi, directing the effects of other herbs to the upper body.
With Gan Cao, disseminates Lung Qi, expels Phlegm, resolves toxicity, and expels pus for productive cough with hoarseness and pain and swelling of the throat due to Wind-Heat and Lung abscess with expectoration of pus and pain in the chest and flanks.
With Huang Qin and Gan Cao, for hoarseness, pain and swelling of the throat due to Wind-Heat

Rx. Ginseng Ren Shen 9g Tonifies Lung Qi and tonifies Qi in Deficiency patients with Exterior conditions.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Gan Cao 3g Moistens the Lungs, resolves Phlegm, stops cough and moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs.
