Rx. Salviae Miltiorrhizae Dan Shen 15g Invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, cools the Blood and reduces abscesses.
Spica Prunellae Xia Ku Cao 15g Clears Hot Phlegm and dissipates nodules.
With Xuan Shen, Kun Bu and Mu Li, for nodules due to Phlegm Fire.
with Chai Hu, for neck nodules due to Liver Qi Stagnation.
With Zhe Bei Mu, cools and relieves toxicity to disperse and transform Phlegm and treat goiter, scrofula and swollen or inflamed lymph glands.
With Xiang Fu and Chai Hu, for Liver Qi Stagnation.
Rx. Scrophulariae Xuan Shen 15g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, nourishes Yin, softens hardness and dissipates nodules.
With Mu Li and Zhe Bei Mu, for scrofula, goiter, and other nodules due to Phlegm.
Concha Ostreae Mu Li 12g Calms the Liver, benefits Yin, anchors Floating Yang, softens hardness and dissipates nodules.
With Chai Hu, Dan Shen and chi Shao, for sub-costal pain and swelling.
Pumex Fu Shi 12g Softens hardness and dissipates Phlegm nodules.
With Mu Li, Hai Zao, Kun Bu and Zhe Bei Mu, for scrofula and goiter from Phlegm-Heat.
Rx. Bupleuri Chai Hu 9g Spreads Liver Qi, relieves Stagnation, disperses Wind-Heat and resolves Phlegm and congestion.
Rx. Paeoniae Rubra Chi Shao 9g Invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, relieves pain and reduces swelling from sores and abscesses.
