Rx. Gentianae Macrophyllae Qin Jiao 4-90g Clears Heat, expels Wind-Dampness, relaxes the sinews, clears Deficiency Heat and resolves Dampness (good for cramps in the limbs).
With Fang Feng, Du Huo and Qiang Huo for Wind-Cold-Damp Bi.
With Dang Gui and Bai Shao, for Blood Deficiency with hemiplegia, especially with excess muscle tension in the upper extremities.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Gan Cao 2-60g Tonifies the Spleen, tonifies Qi clears Heat, moderates spasms, alleviates pain and moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of the other herbs.
With Bai Shao, for abdominal pain, intestinal spasms and spasms of the calf or other muscles.
With Dang Gui for Wind-Damp Invasion blocking the Blood vessels causing pain, numbness and paralysis.
Rz. Chuanxiong Chuan Xiong 2-60g Activates the Blood, regulates Qi, expels Wind-Cold and alleviates pain (good for headaches).
With Dang Gui for Wind-Damp Invasion blocking the Blood vessels causing pain, numbness, and paralysis.
With Sheng Di Huang and Bai Shao, for headache due to Blood Deficiency.
With Xi Xin, for Wind-Cold headaches and Shao Yin Cold headaches.

With Shu Di Huang, for headache, toothache, and thirst due to raging fire caused by devastated Yin.

With Bai Zhu, strengthens the Spleen and resolves Dampness.
