Hb. Cirsii Xiao Ji 9-15g Stops bleeding, eliminates Blood Heat and Stagnation and facilitates urination.
With Ou Jie, Pu Huang and Sheng Di Huang, cools the Blood and stops bleeding.
Nodus Nelumbo Rhizomatis Ou Jie 6-15g Stops bleeding, astringes leakage of Blood, removes Blood Stasis and eliminates Blood Heat.
Dry-fried Pollen Typhae Chao Pu Huang 6-15g Stops bleeding, tonifies, invigorates and astringes Blood and promotes urination.
With Xiao Ji, for Blood Lin.
Rx. Rehmanniae Sheng Di Huang 9-120g Nourishes Yin, clears Heat and prevents injury to Yin by diuretics.
With Mu Tong and Dan Zhu Ye, for sensations of Heat in the chest, irritability, insomnia, thirst, dark, scanty urine, and mouth and tongue sores from Heat in the Heart and Small Intestine.
Talcum Hua Shi 9-15g Clears Damp-Heat, promotes urination, unblocks and soothes painful urination, and stops bleeding due to Heat.
With Mu Tong, for Heat Lin.
With Zhi Zi and Mu Tong, for Lin Syndrome with hot, painful urinary dribbling and scanty, dark, painful urination.
Caulis Akebiae Mu Tong 3-15g Promotes urination.
With Dan Zhu Ye and Zhi Zi, clears and drains Fire and Heat from the Heart. Lungs and San Jiao.
With Dang Gui, invigorates the Blood and stops pain.
With Ou Jie and Chao Pu Huang, for painful, bloody urinary dysfunction.
Hb. Lophatheri Dan Zhu Ye 6-15g Clears Heat, promotes urination and clears Damp-Heat.
Fr. Gardeniae Zhi Zi 6-15g Clears Heat, drains Damp-Heat, cools Blood and stops bleeding.
With Hua Shi, for painful urinary dysfunction due to Damp-Heat in Bladder.
Rx. Angelicae Sinensis Dang Gui 6-15g Prevents Blood Stasis, nourishes and harmonizes the Blood, alleviates pain and moderates the cold properties of the other herbs.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Preparata Zhi Gan Cao 3-15g Relieves spasmodic pain, harmonizes the Middle Jiao, clears Heat and moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of the other herbs.
