  • On the lateral side of the foot, in the depression anterior and inferior to the tuberosity of the fifth metatarsal bone.
  • Posterior and inferior to the tuberosity of the fifth metatarsal bone on the junction of the red and white skin.
  • On the lateral side of the dorsum of the foot, below the tuberosity of the fifth metatarsal bone at the junction of the red and white skin.
  • Perpendicular insertion 0.3 to 0.5 cun.
  • Slanted insertion pointed downward and medially, 0.5 to 1 cun. Sensation: local distention and soreness.
