- With the finger slightly flexed, this point is located on the redial side of the second finger distal to the metacarpalphalangeal joint at the junction of the red and white skin.
- In the depression anterior to the metacarpalphalangeal joint of the index finger on the lateral side.
- On the radial border of the index finger, in a depression just distal to the metacarpalphalangeal joint.
- Straight insertion, 0.3 cun.
- Oblique proximal or distal insertion, 0.2 to 0.3 cun.
- Perpendicular-oblique insertion towards the pain, 0.5 cun.
- Puncture perpendicularly 0.2 to 0.3 cun.
- Moxibustion is applicable.
