  • With the arm raised, this point can be found in the center of the armpit, medial to the axillary artery.
  • In the depression at the center of the axilla.
    Note: with the arm raised, the point is in the depression at the highest point of the axillary hollow.
  • Straight insertion, 1 to 1.5 cun. Sensation: local distention and soreness, or an electric, numb sensation extending toward the forearm.
  • Perpendicular insertion in the direction of GB-21 Jianjing 0.5 to 1 cun, avoiding the axillary artery.
  • Moxibustion is applicable.
