Rx. Astragali Huang Qi 30g Tonifies Qi and Blood, strengthens the Spleen, promotes urination and reduces edema.
Rx. Rehmanniae Sheng Di Huang 12g Clears Heat, cools the Blood and nourishes Yin.
With Bai Shao, for Blood Deficiency Heat.
With Da Huang, for Deficiency Fire and parched, dry stools with damaged Yin.
Fr. Lycii Gou Qi Zi 12g Nourishes and tonifies Liver and Kidney Blood and Yin.
Rx. Paeoniae Alba Bai Shao 12g Nourishes the Blood, astringes Yin, softens the Liver and relieves pain.
With Gan Cao, regulates the relationship between the Liver and Spleen and nourishes the sinews for abdominal pain due to disharmony between the Liver and Stomach and epigastric, hypochondriac or flank pain.
Fr. Corni Shan Zhu Yu 12g Stabilizes the Kidneys, astringes Jing and Body Fluids, tonifies Liver and Kidney Yin and strengthens Kidney Yang.
Hb. Artemisiae Scopariae Yin Chen Hao 12g Clears Damp-Heat from the Liver and Gallbladder and relieves jaundice.
With Da Huang, for early-stage Damp-Heat Jaundice when Heat is stronger than Dampness.
Fr. Crataegi Shan Zha 12g Reduces and guides out Food Stagnation, transforms accumulations, transforms Blood Stasis, invigorates Blood circulation and dissipates clumps.
Rz. Polygoni Cuspidati Hu Zhang 12g Invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, unblocks the channels, clears Heat, resolves Dampness and stops pain.
Processed Rx. et Rz. Rhei Zhi Da Huang 9g Drains Heat, purges accumulations, drains Fire, transforms Dampness, promotes urination, invigorates the Blood and dispels Blood Stasis.
Per. Citri Reticulatae Chen Pi 6g Regulates Qi, adjusts the Middle, relieves the diaphragm, dries Dampness and transforms Phlegm.
With Qing Pi, for flank pain and chest and abdominal distention due to Liver Qi Stagnation.
Per. Citri Reticulatae Viride Qing Pi 6g Spreads Liver Qi, breaks up Stagnant Qi, dries Dampness and transforms Phlegm.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Gan Cao 6g Moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs.
