Hb. Ephedrae Ma Huang 6g Induces sweating, releases the Exterior, promotes urination, reduces edema and warms and disperses Cold pathogens for toxic sores without a head.
Fr. Kochiae Di Fu Zi 15g Clears Damp-Heat, promotes urination, expels Dampness and stops itching.
Rx. Scutellariae Huang Qin 12g Clears Heat,d dries Dampness, drains Fire and detoxifies.
With Zhi Zi , for sores due to Heat toxin.
Fr. Gardeniae Zhi Zi 6g Clears Heat, reduces Fire, drains Damp-Heat, cools the Blood, relieves toxicity, reduces swelling and invigorates the Blood.
Rz. Atractylodis Cang Zhu 9g Strongly dries Dampness, tonifies the Spleen, induces sweating, expels Wind-Dampness and clears Dampness from the Lower Jiao.
Poria Fu Ling 15g Promotes urination, leaches out Dampness and strengthens the Spleen.
Rx. et Rz. Rhei Da Huang 9g Drains Heat, purges accumulations, drains Fire, transforms Dampness, promotes urination, drains Heat from the Blood, invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, reduces Fire toxicity and eliminates Phlegm.
Flos Lonicerae Jin Yin Hua 15g Clears Heat, resolves Fire toxicity and clears Damp-Heat from the Lower Jiao.
With Lian Qiao, for various Heat disorders.
With Lian Qiao and Huang Qin, for unremitting high fever.
With Gan Cao, for toxic swellings and sores.
With Huang Qin, for suppurating boils that have not ulcerated, or have ulcerated but are not discharging pus.
Fr. Forsythiae Lian Qiao 15g Clears Heat, relieves toxicity, reduces abscesses, dissipates clumps and clears Blood Heat.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Gan Cao 9g Tonifies the Spleen, augments Qi, clears Heat, relieves Fire toxicity, moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs and guides the herbs to all twelve channels.
With Jin Yin Hua, for Damp rashes or acne.
