Rx. Astragali Huang Qi 9-15g Tonifies Qi and Blood, tonifies Wei Qi, stabilizes the Exterior, promotes the discharge of pus, generates flesh and expels toxins.
With Dang Gui, for Qi and Blood Deficiency with chronic non-healing sores.
With Chuan Shan Jia and Zao Jiao Ci, for Yin type suppurative sores that do not perforate or only produce a thin clear discharge.
Rx. Angelicae Sinensis Dang Gui 6-9g Tonifies, invigorates and harmonizes the Blood, reduces swelling, expels pus, generates flesh and alleviates pain.
With Chuan Xiong, harmonizes, nourishes and invigorates the Blood and disperses Blood Stasis.
Rz. Chuanxiong Chuan Xiong 6-9g Invigorates the Blood, promotes the movement of Qi and expels Wind.
With Huang Qi, Dang Gui and Zao Jiao Ci, for chronic non-healing sores with or without pus in deficient patients.
Dry-fried Squama Manitis Chao Chuan Shan Jia 3-9g Invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, reduces swelling, promotes the discharge of pus and expels Wind-Dampness from the channels.
With Zao Jiao Ci, for suppurative, inflamed skin lesions that have pustulated but remain closed.
With Zao Jiao Ci, Zao Jiao Ci and Dang Gui, for sores with pus
Spina Gleditsiae Zao Jiao Ci 4.5-15g Draws out toxicity, discharges pus, invigorates the Blood, reduces swelling and expels Wind.
