With Jin Yin Hua, for all hot, painful, hard, and deep-rooted boils.
Flos Lonicerae Jin Yin Hua 15g Clears Heat, resolves Fire toxicity, vents and disperses External Wind-Heat and clears Damp-Heat from the Lower Jiao.
With Jin Yin Hua, for suppurating boils that have not ulcerated, or have ulcerated but are not discharging pus.
Hb. Violae Zi Hua Di Ding 15g Clears Heat, relieves Fire toxicity and clears Hot sores.
With Pu Gong Ying, for breast abscesses, furuncles, boils, carbuncles and Damp-Heat jaundice.
Rz. Coptidis Huang Lian 6g Clears Heat, drains Dampness, drains Fire and relieves toxicity.
With Huang Qin and Zhi Zi, for high fever, irritability, dry mouth and throat, and dark urine due to Fire toxin in the three burners.
With Sheng Di Huang, for insomnia and delirium due to unremitting Heat injuring the Ying level.
