POINT: UB-63 (URINARY BLADDER-63)

  • On the lateral side of the foot, in the depression posterior to the tuberosity of the fifth metatarsal bone.
    Note: the tuberosity of the fifth metatarsal bone is the most palpable landmark on the lateral side of the foot.
  • Anterior and inferior to UB-62 Shenmai, on the lateral aspect of the cuboid bone.
  • On the lateral side of the foot, directly below the anterior border of the external malleolus, on the border of the cuboid bone.
  • Perpendicular insertion 0.3 to 0.5 cun.
  • Moxibustion is applicable.
