Rx. Astragali Huang Qi 2-6g Tonifies Qi and Blood, promotes the discharge of pus, generates flesh and expels toxins.
With Ren Shen, for Qi Deficiency.
With Dang Gui, for Qi and Blood Deficiency with chronic non-healing sores.
With Dang Gui and Rou Gui, for flat sores that do not pustulate or ulcers that do not heal.
With Ren Shen, Chuan Xiong, Bai Zhi, and Fang Feng, for chronic sores with underlying Deficiency.
Rx. Ginseng Ren Shen 3.5-6g Tonifies Qi.
Rx. Angelicae Sinensis Dang Gui 3-6g Tonifies, invigorates and harmonizes the Blood, disperses Cold, reduces swelling, expels pus, generates flesh and alleviates pain.
With Huang Qi, for Qi and Blood Deficiency and ulcerated abscesses with insufficient drainage or which drain a clear thin discharge.
With Shu Di Huang, for Heat symptoms due to Yin Deficiency and Devastated Blood.
With Huang Qi, Ren Shen, Shu Di Huang and Rou Gui, expels pus and generates flesh in chronic non-healing sores.
Rz. Chuanxiong Chuan Xiong 2-3g Invigorates the Blood, promotes the movement of Qi and alleviates pain.
With Dang Gui, harmonizes, nourishes and invigorates the Blood and disperses Blood Stasis.
Rx. Saposhnikoviae Fang Feng 2-3g Expels Wind-Dampness and alleviates pain.

With Chuan Xiong, for headache.

With Ren Shen and Gan Cao, for distention and fullness due to Deficiency Cold.
