Colla Corii Asini E Jiao 6-9g Tonifies the Blood and nourishes and moistens Yin.
Egg Yolk Ji Zi Huang 2 yolks Nourishes Yin, tonifies the Blood and moistens Dryness and extinguishes Wind.
Rx. Rehmanniae Shu Di Huang 12g Nourishes the Blood, nourishes Liver and Kidney Yin and benefits Jing.
Rx. Paeoniae Alba Bai Shao 9g Nourishes the Blood, astringes Yin, softens the Liver, calms Liver Yang and Liver Wind and relieves pain.
With Gan Cao, for muscle spasms, pain and numbness, especially in the calf, due to Blood Deficiency.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Preparata Gan Cao 1.5g Moderates spasms, alleviates pain, moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs and guides the herbs to all twelve channels.
Ram. cum Uncis Uncariae Gou Teng 6g Extinguishes Wind and alleviates spasms.
Concha Haliotidis Shi Jue Ming 15g Drains Liver Fire, pacifies the Liver, anchors and sedates Liver Yang and calms Internal Wind.
With Mu Li, for headache and dizziness associated with Yin Deficiency and Rising Yang patterns.
Concha Ostreae Mu Li 12g Heavily settles and calms the Spirit, calms the Liver, benefits Yin and anchors Floating Yang.
Poria Pararadicis Fu Shen 12g Quiets the Heart, calms the Spirit and
soothes the nerves.
Caulis Trachelospermi Luo Shi Teng 9g Dispels Wind-Dampness and unblocks the channels and collaterals.
With Ji Zi Huang, Bai Xiao and E Jiao, for Internal Wind leading to muscle spasms and twitching.
