Treatment Principle
Herb Formulas	Cancer #1 Decoct 60g Hb. Scutellariae Barbatae Ban Zhi Lian and 60g Hb. Hedyotis Diffusae Bai Hua She She Cao and take daily. Take a decoction of 120g Hb. Hedyotis Diffusae Bai Hua She She Cao and 120g Rz. Curculiginis Xian Mao daily. Take a liquid extract of Hb. Erodii/Geranii Lao Guan Cao daily. Use 25 ml of a retention enema once daily consisting of 200g Hb. et Sm. Sophorae Alopecuroides Ku Dou Zi and 10g of starch mixed with 1000ml saline solution. With continuous bleeding: Parch Bul. Lilii Bai He with wine and grind into a powder for oral administration with water. Decoct 20g of dried Fr. Fici Bi Li and drink or eat five fruits after meals every day. Make Fol. et Ram. Sarcandrae Zhong Jie Feng into 0.3g tablets and take 4-6 tablets three times per day. Take 1 gram of powdered Hirudo Shui Zhi with water or wine. For hematemesis: 1. Grind 30g Bombyx Batryticatus Jiang Can and 30g Fr. Mume Wu Mei into a powder, blend with rice and make small boluses. Take 100 boluses three times daily with water before meals. 2. Soak 5 kg Fr. Chebulae Mu Gua in wine, wrap in a piece of cloth, simmer and crush. Mix with 30g Rx. Angelicae Dahuricae Bai Zhi, 30g Rx. Saposhnikoviae Fang Feng and 30g Rx. Gentianae Macrophyllae Qin Jiao, parch, pulverize and blend with rice to make small pills. Take 9g morning and evening. For constipation: Finely crush 21g Aloe Lu Hui and 15g Cinnabaris Zhu Sha, blend with rice and wine to make boluses. Take 9g with wine. Topical: 1. Cancer #8 2. Grind Aloe Lu Hui into a powder in white wine and mix with a small amount of Borneolum Bing Pian for external application. 3. Powder 10g Rz. Zingiberis Recens Sheng Jiang and 0.6g Realgar Xiong Huang, spread on a piece of general plaster and apply to the sacrococcygeal area to stop pain.
