Sm. Armeniacae Xing Ren 9g Disperses the Lungs, stops cough and resolves Phlegm.
With Hou Po, for Upper and Middle Jiao Dampness with a stifling sensation in the chest and epigastric and abdominal distention with a feeling of fullness.
Rx. Scutellariae Huang Qin 6g Clears Heat, drains Fire and dries Dampness.
With Huang Lian, drains pathogenic Heat from the Upper and Middle Jiaos for high fever, redness, swelling and pain of the head and face, dry mouth, parched throat, ulcerations of the mouth and tongue, epistaxis, rashes and irritability in warm-febrile disease.
Rz. Coptidis Huang Lian 3g Drains Fire, relieves toxicity, clears Heat and drains Dampness.
With Huang Qin for high fever in Warm-Febrile disease.
Per. Citri Reticulatae Chen Pi 4.5g Regulates Qi and dries Dampness.
Cx. Magnoliae Hou Po 6g Regulates Qi and transforms Dampness.
With Huang Lian, for acute diarrhea associated with sudden turmoil disorder from Damp-Heat.
Tub. Curcumae Yu Jin 6g Invigorates the Blood, breaks up Stagnation and regulates Qi.
Talcum Hua Shi 9g Promotes urination, drains Heat from the Bladder, clears Heat, releases Summerheat and expels Damp-Heat through the urine.
Med. Tetrapanacis Tong Cao 3g Promotes urination and clears Heat.
