Hb. Schizonepetae Jing Jie 1-10g Releases the exterior, expels Wind, vents rashes, and relieves itching.
With Niu Bang Zi and Chan Tui, for initial-stage measles and skin eruptions - brings rash to the surface and alleviates itching.
With Fang Feng, for pruritic itching, Exterior Excess and initial-stage boils.
 With Fang Feng, Niu Bang Zi and Chan Tui, opens pores and disperses Wind.
With Dang Gui, for itching, and tremors of the hands and feet from Wind due to Blood Deficiency.
Rx. Saposhnikoviae Fang Feng 2-10g Releases the exterior, moves Qi, expels Wind-Cold-Dampness and alleviates pain.
With Cang Zhu, for pain due to Wind-Dampness.
With Jing Jie and Chan Tui, for dermatological disorders with rash, irritability and itching.
Fr. Arctii Niu Bang Zi 2-6g Disperses Wind-Heat, benefits the throat, clears Internal Heat and vents rashes.
With Chan Tui, for weeping ulcers.
Periostracum Cicadae Chan Tui 1-3g Expels Wind, clears internal Heat and vents rashes.
With Jing Jie, Fang Feng and Ku Shen, for weepy red skin lesions in patients with pre-existing Damp-Heat.
Rz. Atractylodis Cang Zhu 2-10g Strongly dries Dampness and expels Wind-Dampness.
With Ku Shen and Mu Tong, for leakage of Fluids.
Rx. Sophorae Flavescentis Ku Shen 1-6g Clears Heat, dries Dampness, disperses Wind and stops itching.
With Chan Tui and Jing Jie, for generalized itching.
Caulis Akebiae Mu Tong 1.5-6g Drains Damp-Heat through the urine.
With Dang Gui, promotes circulation of Blood and stops pain.
Gypsum Fibrosum Shi Gao 3-15g Clears Heat, drains Fire and heals eczema, burns and ulcerated sores and wounds.
With Zhi Mu, clears Qi-level Heat and helps prevent the disorder from deepening.
With Sheng Di Huang, for excessive Fire with injured fluids.
With Sheng Di Huang and Zhi Mu, for Stomach Fire.
Rx. Anemarrhenae Zhi Mu 1.5-6g Clears Heat, drains Fire, nourishes Yin and moistens Dryness.
With Shi Gao, for epidemic diseases.
Rx. Rehmanniae Sheng Di Huang 3-15g Cools Blood and clears Heat.
Rx. Angelicae Sinensis Dang Gui 3-10g Nourishes and invigorates Blood, expels pus, reduces swelling and generates flesh.
Sm. Sesame Hei Zhi Ma 1.5-15g Nourishes Yin and Blood.

Rx. Glycyrrhizae Gan Cao 1-3g Clears Heat, relieves toxicity and moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs.
With Niu Bang Zi, strongly clears throat and Lungs to treat Wind-Heat attacks the Lungs or Fire toxin flaring upwards.

  • Lesions may range over a large portion of the body

CONTRAINDICATIONS
  • Avoid foods which are thought to stimulate Wind, such as alcohol, coffee, spicy foods, seafood, as well as smoking, while taking this formula.
  • Contraindicated for those with marked Qi or Blood Deficiency.
