Rx. Aconiti Lateralis Preparata Zhi Fu Zi 6-20g Warms Ming Men Fire and assists Heart, Kidney and Spleen Yang.
With Ren Shen, for severe Deficiency of Source Qi and Collapse of Yang with cold extremities, sweating, weak breathing, dizziness and an extremely pale complexion.
With Ren Shen and Gui Zhi, for weak Heart Yang with palpitations, shortness of breath and chest pain.
With Huang Qi, for spontaneous sweat and chills due to Yang Deficiency.
With Xi Xin, for Cold damage both Internal and External with aversion to Cold, headache and generalized body aches with aching joints.
With Ma Huang and Xi Xin, for a Wind-Cold Attack with preexisting Yang Deficiency.
Rx. Ginseng Ren Shen 10-30g Powerfully tonifies Yuan Qi, tonifies Heart Qi and calms the Spirit.
With Huang Qi, for Qi Deficiency with general debility, anorexia and spontaneous sweat.
(Rx. Codonopsis) (Dang Shen) 20-40g (May substitute for Ren Shen.)
Rx. Astragali Huang Qi 30g Tonifies Qi and Blood, strengthens the Spleen and raises the Yang Qi of the Spleen and Stomach.
With Ren Shen or Dang Shen, for Qi Deficiency with general debility, anorexia, fatigue, tired extremities and spontaneous sweating.
With Zhi Fu Zi, for Yang Deficiency with spontaneous sweat.
Rz. Polygonati Odorati Yu Zhu 30g Nourishes Yin, moistens Dryness, moistens the Lungs, nourishes the Stomach and generates fluids.
With Dang Shen, for Painful obstruction of the chest in cases with both Yin and Qi Deficiency.
Ram. Cinnamomi Gui Zhi 10g Assists Heart Yang, warms and facilitates the flow of Yang Qi in the chest and warms and facilitates the flow of Qi through the channels and collaterals and Blood through the vessels.
With Ma Huang, for Wind-Cold-Damp Bi.
With Zhi Fu Zi, for chills, an occipital headache, backache and painful extremities due to Yang Deficiency with Wind-Cold-Damp Bi .

 

Hb. Ephedrae Ma Huang 6-12g Induces sweating, releases the Exterior, disseminates and facilitates Lung Qi, calms wheezing, stops coughing and warms and disperses Cold pathogens.
Hb. cum Rx. Asari Xi Xin 3g Disperses Wind-Cold and Internal Cold and alleviates pain.
With Ma Huang, for coughing and wheezing due to Phlegm caused by Wind-Cold and Wind-Cold-Damp Bi pain.
\with Ma Huang and Zhi Fu Zi, for Exterior Wind-Cold with underlying Yang Deficiency.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Preparata Gan Cao 6-30g Tonifies the Spleen, augments Qi, moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs and guides the herbs to all twelve channels.
With Dang Shen, for palpitations due to Heart Qi Deficiency.
With Ren Shen, relieves palpitations and anxiety.
