Hb. Houttuyniae Yu Xing Cao 10-60g Clears Heat, relieves toxicity, reduces swellings and abscesses, expels pus especially from the Lungs, drains Damp-Heat and promotes urination.
Hb. Patriniae/Thlaspi Bai Jiang Cao 6-30g Clears Heat, resolves toxicity, expels pus, reduces abscesses, dispels Blood Stasis, resolves bruises and stops pain.
With Yu Xing Cao and Huang Qin, for Lung abscess.
Bul. Allii Sativi Da Suan 4.5-15g Disperses abscesses, reduces swellings, resolves toxicity, warms the Stomach, strengthens the Spleen, promotes the movement of Qi and reduces Stagnation.
Rx. Scutellariae Huang Qin 3-18g Clears Heat, dries Dampness, drains Fire, detoxifies, cools the Blood, stops bleeding and calms ascending Liver Yang.
Rx. Salviae Miltiorrhizae Dan Shen 3-15g Invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, clears Heat, soothes irritability, cools the Blood, reduces abscesses, nourishes the Blood and calms the Spirit.
