Rx. Scutellariae Huang Qin 3-18g Clears Heat, dries Dampness, drains Fire and detoxifies.
With Zhi Zi, powerfully clears and drains lurking Heat from the Lungs with fever, fullness in the chest, cough with yellow sputum and epistaxis or hematemesis.
With Da Huang, for constipation.
Cx. Mori Sang Bai Pi 6-18g Drains Heat from the Lungs, stops cough, calms wheezing, promotes urination and reduces edema.
With Huang Qin, drains Heat from the Lungs, and stops cough and wheezing.
Rx. Ophiopogonis Mai Men Dong 6-15g Moistens the Lungs, nourishes Yin, stops cough, nourishes Stomach Yin, generates fluids and moistens the Intestines.
With Bei Sha Shen, for dry cough with little Phlegm and a parched throat due to Lung Dryness or Heat injuring the Lung Yin.
Caulis Akebiae Mu Tong 3-10g Promotes urination and unblocks painful urinary dysfunction.
With Che Qian Zi, for Heart Fire Transferring to the Small Intestine channel causing edema and painful urinary dysfunction.
Sm. Plantaginis Che Qian Zi 4-15g Promotes urination, clears Damp-Heat, clears the Lungs, expels Phlegm and stops cough.
With Bai Mao Gen, unblocks Lin , cools the Blood and stops bleeding for Damp-Heat clumping to cause scanty urination with pain and hematuria.
With Mai Men Dong and Bei Sha Shen, for Lung Yin Deficiency cough.
Fr. Gardeniae Zhi Zi 3-12g Clears Heat, reduces Fire, eliminates irritability, reduces swelling and activates the Blood.
Poria Fu Ling 9-18g Promotes urination and leaches out Dampness.
With Che Qian Zi, for Lin Syndrome, especially Milky Lin.

With Huang Qi, drains pathogenic Heat from the Upper and Middle Jiaos.

Rx. Glehniae Bei Sha Shen 9-30g Nourishes Lung and Stomach Yin, clears Lung Heat, generates fluids and tonifies Liver and Kidney Yin.
Bul. Lilii Bai He 9-30g Nourishes the Yin, moistens the Lungs, clears Heat and stops cough.
