Rx. Angelicae Pubescentis Du Huo 3-9g Dispels Wind-Dampness, opens the channels, vitalizes the vessels, alleviates pain, disperses Wind-Cold-Dampness and releases the exterior.
With Fang Feng, for numbness in the legs.
Rx. Saposhnikoviae Fang Feng 3-10g Releases the exterior., expels External Wind-Cold and Dampness and alleviates pain.
With Qin Jiao, for pain due to Wind-Dampness in patients with Blood Deficiency.
Fol. Mori Sang Ye 4.5-15g Disperses Wind-Heat, clears the Liver and eyes, clears Heat from the Lungs and moistens Dryness.
Rx. Clematidis Wei Ling Xian 3-12g Dispels Wind-Dampness, opens the channels and alleviates pain.
With Niu Xi, for Wind-Damp Bi causing joint pain, especially in the lower joints.
Rz. Smilacis Glabrae Tu Fu Ling 15-60g Relieves toxicity, eliminates Dampness, benefits joints, clears Damp-Heat from the skin and Removes Wind.
With Bai Xian Pi, for skin lesions associated with Damp-Heat.
Cx. Dictamni Bai Xian Pi 4-15g Clears Heat, resolves Fire-toxicity, expels Wind, dries Dampness, clears Damp-Heat and stops itching.
Ram. Taxilli Sang Ji Sheng 9-30g Strengthens sinews and bones, tonifies Liver and Kidney Yin, expels Wind-Dampness, nourishes the Blood and benefits the skin.
With Du Huo and Niu Xi, for Kidney and Liver Yin Deficiencies and Wind-Dampness causing low back and leg pain, stiffness and soreness.
Rx. Paeoniae Rubra Chi Shao 4.5-15g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, activates Blood, dispels Blood Stasis and eliminates pain.

  • Small coin sized white plaque located on the scalp, body, extremities, and other areas
  • There is a covered scale
  • Removing the scale reveals a light pink shining membrane
  • Most commonly seen in winter and Spring
  • Chronic patients may see it in any season
  • Beneath the membrane are petechiae
  • The lesions heal without scarring
  • There may be nail involvement with stippling
  • Rarely presents as diffuse redness of the skin or pitting of the nail plate covered by fine scales
  • The psoriasis may precede or follow joint inflammation
  • Pustular psoriasis occurs following a sudden onset of high fever
  • Sterile pustules can be found everywhere including the palms and soles
  • Wind-Cold is usually seen in children, early cases or psoriatic arthritis
