Fr. Perillae Zi Su Zi 9g Stops cough and wheezing., descends Qi and dissolves Phlegm.
With Ting Li Zi, for accumulation of Phlegm and thin mucus leading to Lung Qi Stagnation and blockage with cough and wheezing which is worse when lying down, edema of the tissues of the face and head, stifling fullness and discomfort in the chest and reduction in the flow of urine.
Sm. Lepidii/Descurainiae Ting Li Zi 9g Drains the Lungs, reduces Phlegm and calms wheezing.
With Da Zao, for cough with excessive sputum, wheezing, and chest pain due to Phlegm preventing the descent of Lung Qi.
Fr. Schisandrae Wu Wei Zi 6g Astringes leakage of Lung Qi.
Lapis Chloriti Qing Meng Shi 6g Descends Qi and reduces Phlegm.
Rx. Platycodi Jie Geng 9g Opens the Lungs, spreads Lung Qi and expels Phlegm.
Fr. Aurantii Immaturus Zhi Shi 6g Breaks up Stagnant Qi, reduces accumulation, transforms Phlegm and descends Qi.
Fr. Trichosanthis Gua Lou 12g Clears Heat, transforms Hot Phlegm, moistens Dryness and expands the chest.
Fr. Jujube Da Zao 10g Tonifies the Spleen and Stomach, augments Qi and moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs.
