Sm. Phaseoli Chi Xiao Dou 9-30g Promotes urination, reduces edema and clears Damp Heat.
Caul. Spatholobi Ji Xue Teng 9-20g Invigorates and tonifies the Blood, invigorates the channels and relaxes the sinews.
Flos Lonicerae Jin Yin Hua 6-20g Clears Heat, resolves Fire toxicity and clears Damp-Heat from the Lower Jiao.
Caul. Lonicerae Ren Dong Teng 9-30g Clears Heat, resolves toxicity, dispels Wind-Dampness, soothes the sinews, unblocks the channels cools the Blood, expels Wind-Heat and clears Damp-Heat from the Lower Jiao.
With Jin Yin Hua, for Wind-Heat throughout the body affecting the channels and collaterals with stiffness and pain.
Sm. Coicis Yi Yi Ren 9-30g Strengthens the Spleen, resolves Dampness, expels Wind-Dampness, relieves pain and clears Damp-Heat.
With Cang Zhu, Huang Bai and Niu Xi, for Damp-Heat pouring downward leading to atrophy and weakness of the lower extremities and Wei (atrophy) syndrome with muscle weakness due to Damp-Heat.
Rz. Atractylodis Cang Zhu 3-10g Strongly dries Dampness, tonifies the Spleen, induces sweating, expels Wind-Dampness and clears Dampness from the Lower Jiao.
With Jin Yin Hua, for pain, swelling, and weakness of the lower extremities or skin lesions due to Wind-Dampness and atrophy disorder, vaginal discharge and Damp-sores.
Rx. Sophorae Flavescentis Ku Shen 3-15g Clears Heat, dries Dampness, disperses Wind, clears Heat and promotes urination.
Rx. Aristolochiae Guang Fang Ji 4-12g Expels Wind-Dampness, clears Heat, promotes urination and reduces edema.
With Yi Yi Ren, for Damp-Heat-induced extremity pain.
Rz. Alismatis Ze Xie 4.5-16g Promotes urination, leaches out Dampness, settles Ministerial Fire in the Kidneys by draining Damp-Heat from the lower Jiao and drains Kidney Fire.

With Huang Bai, Cang Zhu and Yi Yi Ren, for red, swollen and painful joints of the lower extremities from Damp-Heat Pouring Downward.
