Spica Prunellae Xia Ku Cao 25g Clears Hot Phlegm and dissipates nodules.
With Xuan Shen and Kun Bu, for nodules due to Phlegm Fire.
Rx. Scrophulariae Xuan Shen 16g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, nourishes Yin, softens hardness, dissipates nodules, transforms Phlegm-Heat, drains Fire and relieves toxicity.
With Jie Geng and Gan Cao, for a sore throat with Dryness and pain.
Halitum Da Qing Yan 16g Clears Heat and cools the Blood, improves eyesight and moistens dryness.
Sargassum Hai Zao 3g Reduces Phlegm and softens areas of hardness.
With Xia Ku Cao, Lian Qiao and Xuan Shen, for scrofula.
Hb. Menthae Bo He 3g Disperses Wind-Heat, cools and clears the head and eyes, benefits the throat, relieves Stagnation of Liver Qi and expels turbid filth.
With Xia Ku Cao, for scrofula.

Rx. Trichosanthis Tian Hua Fen 3g Clears and drains Lung Heat, transforms Phlegm, moistens Lung Dryness, relieves toxicity, expels pus and reduces swelling.
Concha Cyclinae/ Meretricis Ge Qiao 3g Clears Lung Heat, transforms Phlegm, descends Lung Qi, softens hardness and dissipates nodules.

With Gan Cao, disseminates Lung Qi, expels Phlegm, resolves toxicity and expels pus.
