LOCATION:

  • On the midline oft the sternum, level with the junction of the third intercostal space and the sternum.

NEEDLING:

  • Transverse insertion directed superiorly or inferiorly along the channel, 0.5-1 cun.
  • Puncture subcutaneously 0.3 to 0.5 cun.
  • Moxibustion is applicable.
