NAME: BAICHONGWO

English: Hundred Insect Burrow
Also Known As: Hundred Insects Nest

LOCATION:

  • 3 cun proximal to the superior border of the patella, in a tender depression on the bulge of the vastus medialis muscle.
    Note: this point lies 1 cun proximal to SP-10 Xuehai.

NEEDLING:

  • Perpendicular or oblique insertion 1 to 1.5 cun.
  • Straight insertion 2 to 3 cun.
  • Puncture Perpendicularly 1 to 1.2 cun.
  • Moxibustion is applicable.
