  2. this herb has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells.
  3. This herb is said to cure abdominal masses in children and other chronic and uterine masses.
  4. The herb Hb. Polygoni Orientalis Hong Cao, is said to quench thirst, relieve fever, improve vision and promote the flow of Qi.
  5. For abdominal masses, stew to a paste one bowl of the fruit or flower of this herb into a paste and apply to the mass or mix with wine for oral administration. Greasy food is forbidden while taking this herb.
