- Steep the first four ingredients in the sesame oil for three days. Then boil the oil over low heat until the herbs turn brown. Filter and discard the dregs. Add the beeswax, Xue Jie and Qing Fen to the oil, then reheat if necessary to dissolve the beeswax. Stir thoroughly and pour into an amber glass jar. Allow to congeal. Apply liberally to the affected area with a sterile cotton swab once daily.
