Rx. Astragali Huang Qi 9-30g Tonifies Qi and Blood, strengthens the Spleen and raises the Yang Qi of the Spleen and Stomach.
With Zhi Fu Zi, for Yang Deficiency with spontaneous sweat.
With Gui Zhi, for Qi and Blood Deficiencies and Ying and Wei Deficiencies with numbness and painful obstruction of the musculature.
Rx. Codonopsis Dang Shen 6-15g Tonifies the Middle Jiao, augments Qi, tonifies the Lungs, nourishes the Blood and promotes the generation of Body Fluids.
With Huang Qi, for Lung and Spleen Qi Deficiencies with fatigue, shortness of breath, diarrhea and anorexia.
Ram. Cinnamomi Gui Zhi 9-15g Warms the channels and collaterals to relieve pain, unblocks Yang and transforms Qi and thin mucus, assists the Heart Yang and warms and facilitates the flow of Yang Qi in the chest.
With Zhi Fu Zi, for chills and painful extremities due to Yang Deficiency with Wind-Cold-Damp Bi.
With Dan Shen, for palpitations and chest pain due to Heart Yang Deficiency and subsequent painful obstruction due to Blood Stasis blocking the channels.
Fr. Psoraliae Bu Gu Zhi 3-9g Tonifies the Kidneys, strengthens Yang, stabilizes Jing and tonifies and warms Spleen Yang.
Rx. Aconiti Lateralis Preparata Zhi Fu Zi 1.5-15g Warms Ming Men Fire and assists Heart, Kidney and Spleen Yang.
Rz. Chuanxiong Chuan Xiong 3-10g Invigorates the Blood and promotes the movement of Qi.
Rx. Salviae Miltiorrhizae Dan Shen 3-15g Invigorates and nourishes the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis and calms the Spirit.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Gan Cao 1.5-14g Tonifies the Spleen, augments Qi and moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs.
With Dang Shen and Gui Zhi, for palpitations due to Heart Qi Deficiency.
