Rz. Smilacis Glabrae Tu Fu Ling 15-60g Relieves toxicity, eliminates Dampness, benefits joints, clears Damp-Heat from the skin and removes Wind.
With Bai Xian Pi, for skin lesions associated with Damp-Heat.
Flos Sophora Huai Hua Mi 6-16g Stops bleeding, cools the Blood and cools the Liver.
Rx. Rehmanniae Sheng Di Huang 5-30g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, nourishes Yin and Generates fluids.
Rz. Paridis Chong Lou 5-10g Drains Heat, relieves Fire toxicity and reduces swelling and inflammation.
Rx. Arnebiae/Lithospermi Zi Cao 3-10g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, relieves Fire toxins, encourages rashes and clears Damp-Heat from the skin.
Cx. Dictamni Bai Xian Pi 4-15g Clears Heat, resolves Fire-toxicity, expels Wind, dries Dampness, clears Damp-Heat and stops itching.
Fol. Isatidis Da Qing Ye 9-30g Clears Heat, resolves Fire toxicity, cools the Blood and dissipates maculae.
With Jin Yin Hua, for Toxic Heat sores, erysipelas, mumps, or sore throat.
Rz. Paeoniae Rubra Chi Shao 4.5-15g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, activates Blood and dispels Blood Stasis.
Cx. Moutan Mu Dan Pi 5-12g Clears Heat., activates, cools and harmonizes the Blood, clears Deficiency Fire, and dispels Blood Stasis.
With Chi Shao, for purpuric rash, hematemesis, and Heat injuring the Ying and Xue levels.
Bombyx Batryticatus Bai Jiang Can 3-10g Extinguishes Wind, stops spasms and convulsions, alleviates pain due to Wind-Heat, expels Wind and stops itch.
Flos Lonicerae Jin Yin Hua 6-20g Clears Heat, resolves Fire toxicity and vents and disperses External Wind-Heat.
With Sheng Di Huang and Mu Dan Pi, for Ying Stage and Xue Stage Heat.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Gan Cao 3-6g Moderates and harmonizes the properties of the other herbs.
