With Xing Ren, for Wind-Cold cough and wheezing.
Sm. Armeniacae Xing Ren 6g Stops cough and calms wheezing.
With Ma Huang and Sheng Gan Cao, for cough with profuse sputum, nasal obstruction and a hoarse voice.
Fresh Rx. Glycyrrhizae Sheng Gan Cao 6g Clears Heat, relieves Fire toxicity, moistens the Lungs, resolves Phlegm and stops cough.
With Jie Geng, for pain and swelling of the throat.
With Ma Huang and Xing Ren, for coughing or wheezing due to Wind-Cold Attacks the Lungs.
Periostracum Cicadae Chan Tui 6g Disperses Wind and clears Heat
Fol. Perillae Zi Su Ye 6g Releases the Exterior, disperses Cold, improves Lung function, expands the chest and relieves Cold induced wheezing.
With Jie Geng, for common colds with nasal congestion and productive cough.
Rx. Platycodi Jie Geng 3g Opens the Lungs, spreads Lung Qi, expels Phlegm, benefits the throat, opens and raises Lung Qi, directing the effects of other herbs to the upper body.
