Ram. Cinnamomi Gui Zhi 3g Releases the exterior, adjusts the Ying and Wei, warms the channels and collaterals to relieve pain, disperses Cold, unblocks Yang, transforms Qi and releases the muscle layer.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae (fried) Zhi Gan Cao 3g Resolves Phlegm, stops cough, clears Heat and moderates and harmonizes the properties of the other herbs.
With Ma Huang and Xing Ren, for coughing or wheezing due to Wind-Cold Attacks the Lungs.
Rx. et Rz. Notopterygii Qiang Huo 3g Releases the exterior, disperses Cold, expels Wind-Cold-Dampness, unblocks Painful Obstruction and alleviates pain.
With Chuan Xiong, for headache and generalized body aches and pains associated with the common cold or painful obstruction.
With Fang Feng, for pain due to External Wind-Dampness.
Rx. Saposhnikoviae/ Ledebouriellae Fang Feng 3g Releases the exterior., expels External Wind-Cold and Dampness and alleviates pain.
With Qiang Huo and Dang Gui, for Wind-Cold-Damp Bi.
Rx. Paeoniae Rubra Chi Shao Yao 12g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, activates Blood, dispels Blood Stasis and eliminates pain.
Cx. Dictamni Bai Xian Pi 12g Clears Heat, resolves Fire-toxicity, expels Wind, dries Dampness, clears Damp-Heat and stops itching.
Rx. Angelicae Sinensis Dang Gui 12g Tonifies Blood, regulates menses, invigorates and harmonizes Blood and disperses Cold.
Rx. Ligustici Chuanxiong Chuan Xiong 6g Activates Blood, regulates Qi, expels Wind-Cold and alleviates pain.
With Dang Gui, for Wind-Damp Invasion blocking the Blood vessels causing pain, numbness and paralysis.
Hb. Ephedrae Ma Huang 6g Releases the exterior and disperses Cold.
Sm. Armeniacae Xing Ren 6g Stops cough and wheezing.
With Ma Huang, for cough and wheezing due to Excess.

  • Small coin sized white plaque located on the scalp, body, extremities, and other areas
  • There is a covered scale
  • Removing the scale reveals a light pink shining membrane
  • Most commonly seen in winter and spring
  • Chronic patients may see it in any season
  • Beneath the membrane are petechiae
  • The lesions heal without scarring
  • There may be nail involvement with stippling
  • Rarely presents as diffuse redness of the skin or pitting of the nail plate covered by fine scales
  • The psoriasis may precede or follow joint inflammation
  • Pustular psoriasis occurs following a sudden onset of high fever
