- Decoct the ingredients, steam and wash .Steaming is accomplished by squatting over a large basin of the hot decoction for 5 or 10 minutes. Treat 1 or 2 times daily using a fresh decoction for each session. After each session, sterilize the basin or use a large disposable container each time.
