Rx. Codonopsis Dang Shen 6-14g Tonifies the Middle Jiao and augments Qi.
Rx. Bupleuri Chai Hu 3-12g Spreads Liver Qi and relieves Stagnation.
With Gan Cao, for hepatitis and upper right quadrant pain.
Rx. Paeoniae Alba Bai Shao 5-30g Nourishes the Blood, regulates menstruation, softens the Liver, calms Liver Yang and Liver Wind and alleviates pain.
With Gan Cao, for epigastric, hypochondriac or flank pain and abdominal pain due to disharmony between the Liver and Stomach.
With Chai Hu, for flank pain due to Liver Qi Stagnation.
Rz. Corydalis Yan Hu Suo 3-12g Invigorates the Blood, circulates Qi, stops pain and disperses extravasation.
Rz. Bletillae Bai Ji 3-16g Astringes leakage of Blood, stops bleeding, reduces swelling, generates flesh and eliminates ulcers.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Gan Cao 1.5-14g Clears Heat and relieves Fire toxicity Moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs.
With Dang Shen, for anorexia, fatigue and loose stools due to Spleen Deficiency.
